We are pleased to announce that our new automated small parts warehouse (AKL) with 6,000 storage locations has successfully passed its first test run! The high speed of the storage and retrieval machine of up to 4 m/s (equivalent to approx. 50 storage and retrieval operations per hour) means even faster order processing for our customers. The integrated warehouse management system with real-time recording and a specially designed interface to the WMS enables an optimal flow of goods. With our new AS/RS and the pick-by-light system, we are focusing on efficiency and precision in order to better meet the requirements of digital transformation.
